Analyze locally
Each independent SwingVoice unit captures the golfer and performs high-frame-rate motion analysis close to the player.
THE PRACTICE RANGE, WITH A MEMORY
SwingVoice observes each swing, connects it with the golfer’s evolving practice history, and delivers concise spoken coaching—without turning every shot into a screen-review session.
HOW SWINGVOICE WORKS
SwingVoice separates objective swing analysis from coaching judgment. Edge devices capture what happened. The data platform preserves the player’s history. The AI coaching engine decides the focus, next step, and words the golfer hears.
Each independent SwingVoice unit captures the golfer and performs high-frame-rate motion analysis close to the player.
Baseline swings, current-session observations, outcomes, and prior coaching form a continuing player record.
The LLM uses relevant history to determine the focus, generate concise guidance, and decide how practice should proceed.
The analyzer delivers coaching by voice. Later swings show whether the guidance helped and inform what comes next.
FROM ANALYSIS TO COACHING
SwingVoice is designed to look beyond a single swing. The coaching layer can compare recent motion with previous sessions, decide when a pattern is meaningful, and determine whether the current practice focus should continue or change.
It can progress from observation to explanation, feel, drill selection, and lesson planning—while keeping each spoken cue short enough for the rhythm of practice.
EXAMPLE COACHING DECISION
“Your transition was smoother on the last four swings, and your plane improved with it. Keep the same tempo for the next set.”
THE PLATFORM
The SwingVoice prototype uses an NVIDIA Jetson edge-AI computer for high-frame-rate video capture, body-landmark inference, swing-event detection, and measurement. Core swing analysis happens locally, without requiring continuous video upload.
The data platform can preserve swing observations, session patterns, previous coaching, practice outcomes, and player preferences.
It receives relevant data—not raw video—and returns structured coaching decisions that SwingVoice can validate, speak, and record.
WHY IT’S DIFFERENT
Many golf technologies measure a swing or shot and present the golfer with numbers, graphics, or video to interpret. SwingVoice is designed around a different interaction: it turns analysis into concise, spoken instruction.
Individual measurements are only part of the system. By preserving observations across practice sessions, SwingVoice can consider the golfer’s history before deciding what deserves attention.
Video and graphical analysis remain available when useful, but they do not have to dominate the practice experience. The golfer can stay focused on feel, rhythm, motion, and the next shot.
BUILT TO GROW
The same architecture is designed to accommodate full-swing pose analysis, putting analysis, ball and putter tracking, launch-monitor metrics, player feedback, and lesson plans—giving the coaching engine better evidence without changing the golfer’s simple experience.
